A Pain Management Specialist is a medical professional who is part of the healthcare industry. Their primary role is to identify, diagnose, and treat different types of pain, including acute, chronic, and cancer pain in patients. They develop comprehensive, individualized treatment plans that may involve medications, procedures, physical therapy, or psychological therapies to help manage their patients' pain.
