Cardiologist Jobs in Omaha, NE

A Cardiologist is a critical figure in the medical field. They primarily diagnose and treat diseases and abnormalities of the heart and cardiovascular system. Certifications typically include being board-certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Prior job roles one might hold before becoming a cardiologist include medical student, internal medicine resident, or cardiology fellow. These positions provide the necessary training and experience for the demanding role of a cardiologist.
