We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Pain Management Physician to join our dynamic and supportive team. Our clinic has been in business for over 27 years. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient-centered care and pain management care experience.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of pain conditions.
Develop individualized treatment plans including interventional, pharmacologic, and alternative therapies.
Collaborate with physical therapy, behavioral health, and other specialties to provide a holistic approach to pain management.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with clinic standards and regulations.
Participate in clinic meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing education.
Qualifications:
MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
Board-certified or board-eligible in Pain Medicine (through Anesthesiology, PM&R, Neurology, or Psychiatry).
Active Florida medical license
DEA registration with appropriate schedules for prescribing.

If you are a physician practicing in a Pain Management Clinic and were registered based on the 6th qualification option in Rule 64B8-9.0131, F.A.C., please keep in mind that as a part of your 40 hours of Continuing Medical Education (CME) required per biennium, you must complete 15 hours of live lecture format, Category I CME in pain management for every year you practice in pain management. These will need to be reported to CE Broker along with the rest of your CME credits in order for the Board to renew your license. Answers to many questions regarding license renewal can be found at the Board of Medicines website at flboardofmedicine.gov .
