Hello, fellow health care givers. My name is Dr. Kevin Soliday. Please call me by my first name: Kevin. Or, I can accept Doc. I prefer the later though. I'm absolutely no better than anyone else. So please don't do it. I am opening a sleep apnea office in Gettysburg. It's only for the treatment of sleep apnea. I will be offering and delivering alternatives to the miserable cpap and opap that are pushed on just about every sleep apnea sufferer. I'm looking for 5 licensed sleep apnea technicians and an MD, immediately, for the main office location, in Gettysburg. Very soon after, I will need good people, many of them, for every satellite office that I will quickly be opening. Future plans: I will be opening satellites across the country sometime in the very near future. One after the other, as quickly as I can. I truly do not care about the money. Never did. The only reason I'm doing this on such a massive scale, is because I have the insatiable urge to simply help all those I possibly can. I've been that way my whole life. I have to be so. It's not a choice for me. I will be able to truly help so, so many who suffer with their cpaps, completely improve their lives. I was a cpap user for over 20 years and was diagnosed with severe, severe sleep apnea. I was told, I would be condemned to a life's time sentence, with that miserable machine. Well that was not acceptable to me. I researched every oral appliance known to man. Since I lived that miserable life for so long, I absolutely knew what would work and what wouldn't. I quickly went through all the oral appliances currently available, over 500 to be exact. Unfortunately, they all had short comings. They were uncomfortable and mostly, ineffective. Only one oral appliance had some potential, but it too, had many flaws. I saw that immediately. So I realized what it was that I needed to do. I had come up with an solution, and start from scratch, and invent 2 oral appliances that were very effective and comfortable. I designed two oral appliances. One for effectively treating sleep apnea and the other one for treating the very few patients, that would still, unfortunately, need their cpaps. So I invented a totally new opap for them. At the very least, I will be able to get rid of their miserable face mask and uncomfortable straps. I completely addressed every short coming of all the other oral appliances. I will have the patent pending in a few weeks. I actually had the first one fabricated for myself. I saw my friend and sleep physician, and told him what I had in mind. He said I was completely wasting my time, don't even bother. I asked him to do a sleep study on me immediately, with just the oral appliance, not with the cpap, at all. My goal is to have sleep apnea patients diagnosed and out the door with an oral appliance, that actually works, in 4 days, not 4 months, which is currently how long it takes. Well guess what? I was told I no longer needed the cpap. I now sleep deeper and in R.E.M. sleep continuously, the entire night. My cpap never even came close to being that effective. My sleep physician could not believe it. Well, I realized that, I do not need Sleep Physicians to refer me sleep apnea patients at all. In 2 weeks of me simply talking to people, my first months schedule is filling up quickly. They all have many friends and family members who suffer with the cpap, as well. I actually have some sleep apnea patients coming to Sleep Apnea Solutions, all the way from Florida. My web site and radio ads, haven't even gone up yet. That happens September 12th. I realized that it's going to be overwhelming, seeing that many sleep apnea patients. Not for me, or the staff, but for the sleep apnea testing centers. Solution: I'm setting up 10 sleep beds and polysomnographs at each location, with licensed sleep technicians, and an MD, simply to diagnose and check the efficacy of our oral appliances. I need MD's, who are open minded, and will appreciate the fact, that they are truly helping people change their lives. Not by condemning them, to life long misery, with the cpap. But instead, helping them to receive an oral appliance that actually works. If it worked for me, with my severe, severe diagnosis, it will work for others, as well. I can actually tell a patient, if it will work for them, literally in 15 seconds. If you know any good people, please inform them of this truly wonderful opportunity. Just be prepared as possible, so that you can, in an educated manner, respond to the patients inquisitions. It's absolutely necessary for everyone to be on the same page, so that no misinformation is conveyed to the patients. I speak to them, not at them. Education is my primary goal. Please listen to exactly, what I tell the patients. Please, don't repeat exactly what I say though. Please say it in your own words though. Patients can absolutely tell, if you're simply regurgitating information. I promise you, you will sound like a robot. Just like all of the telemarketers out there. Just so you know, I'm not stubborn, or it's my way or it's the highway. It's extremely important, that we all project the same concept to every single patient.
