Trauma Surgery Physician Associate Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Facility in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

A facility is seeking a Trauma Surgery Physician Associate for locum tenens coverage.
Myrtle Beach has plenty to do after work whether you love the beach or want to get away from the sand. There are helicopter tours throughout the day that you can follow with any of the ice cream shops in the city. Don't miss Peaches Corner for fresh fruit to snack on mid-shift. There are also the beautiful beaches to relax on during your off days!
Locum coverage is needed to support the trauma surgery service while recruiting for two permanent positions. The schedule is from 6 AM to 6 PM on weekendsFriday, Saturday, and Sundaycovering 1 to 3 weekends per month. Responsibilities include rounding, consults, ICU, ER, and OR coverage. First assist is preferred but not required. The team includes 6 APPs and 6 MAs, with a permanent night PA covering weekend nights. EMR used is E-Clinical Works. A South Carolina license is required.
