Family Medicine Physician Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Facility in La Grange, Texas

A FQHC is seeking a Family Medicine Physician for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in La Grange, Texas.
The position has a credentialing timeframe of 30 days, with the potential for up to 45 days if processing is slow. It offers a full-time Monday to Friday schedule, with operating hours from 8 AM to 5 PM, and 1st, 2nd, and 5th Saturdays from 8 AM to 12 PM. The position is open to MD/DO candidates only, with no on-call requirements. The average patient load is 18-22 patients per day, serving all ages, including children. Required certifications include a TX license, DEA, and BC or BE with minimal malpractice history. Preferred COVID or flu vaccination. Support staff includes a Family Medicine MD, a Pediatrician, and RN/MA support. The EMR system used is NextGen, and experience with it is highly desired. The ideal candidate would have experience with NextGen EMR, though there has been limited interest so far.
