Performs clerical and communication functions in the Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Department. She/He schedules patient appointments and provides courteous reception in the clinic. Collects co-pays, answers phones, verifies insurance, registers new patients, and checks patient in/out. Various office duties including but not limited to filing and sorting. Must work with any and every therapist in the Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Department. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education:
High School graduate or equivalent required

Minimum Experience/Knowledge:
One year of experience in health care setting
Familiar with Word, Excel, Outlook, and date entry applications
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Must have professional customer relationship skills

The hourly rate range for this position is $17.50 - $27.00.
