The Department of Orthopedics & Rehabilitation is recruiting an orthopedic surgeon to join our Sports Medicine Division. The department consists of over 50 faculty physicians and 50 advanced practice providers. our orthopedic program has been consistently ranked #1 in Wisconsin and in the top 50 hospital programs in the United Stated by U.S. News & World Report. The division of Sports Medicine consists of 13 faculty (surgical and primary care sports medicine) with 7 advanced practice providers. Each of the physicians within the division are team physicians for the University of Wisconsin Badger Athletics.
Responsibilities:Primary duties include providing clinical care with a focus on Sports Medicine. This is a tenure track position and as such, significant academic output will be expected including research and teaching/mentorship of medical students, resents and fellows.

Terminal Degree
MD or DO or equivalent
-Completion of accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency.
-Successful completion of an accredited Orthopedic Sports Medicine fellowship.
-Demonstrated research experience and portfolio.
For appointment at Associate Professor rank, candidates will meet criteria established by the department and as outlined in the School of Medicine and Public Health guidelines for promotion or appointment to Associate Professor.
