A medical center is seeking a Board-Certified or Eligible Neurosurgeon for 24-hour call coverage from April 25 at 7 AM through May 5 at 7 AM, with potential for a 3-month extension. This hospital-based need is due to a vacant permanent position and primarily involves general neurosurgery supporting Level 1 trauma and comprehensive stroke care. Most cases are cranial and trauma-related, with endovascular surgeons and a neuro-critical care team on-site. The schedule will be supported by three surgeons sharing call volume, and the facility includes a 12-bed Neuro ICU. Candidates must have or be willing to obtain an active Missouri license and DEA. Temp privileges are available, and the EMR used is Meditech.
