An internal medicine clinic is seeking an internal medicine physician for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.
The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with flexibility on the number of days worked. There is no call required. The role involves seeing 10-11 adult patients per day, primarily ages 55 and older, with 15-30 minutes allocated per patient. The facility uses the NextGen EMR system and has full RN staff support alongside one MD. Candidates must be board-certified in Family or Internal Medicine, hold an active South Carolina license, and have a DEA certification. COVID or flu vaccinations are preferred. The position is to provide paternity coverage for the owner, with the first month spent working under them. The ideal candidate will offer compassionate and timely care, and labs are drawn in-house. Interviews will be conducted based on provider availability.
