As a Guthrie Internal Medicine provider, you play a critical role in caring for our patients in your office while collaborating with Guthrie Specialists through a strong referral network.

Guthrie Vestal Internal Medicine seeks a BC/BE Internal Medicine physician to practice in our primary care clinic. Build and create a full spectrum Internal Medicine with a supportive team of providers and experienced Guthrie staff and administration.

Comprehensive Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary starting at $275,000 annually.
• Starting bonus - up to $200,000.
• Medical school loan repayment - up to $150,000.
• Full benefits including medical, dental and disability insurance.
• Malpractice insurance.
• Guthrie Retirement Savings Plan (403B) with employer match and age-based contributions.
• Allowance for licensure fees Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certificate and renewals.
• A $10,000 referral bonus will be paid if a physician is referred for employment and hired full-time.
• Salary range - $275,000-$310,000.

Work Life Balance

• Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. traditional schedule.
• Full-time providers practice 36 patient-facing hours with 4 hours of dedicated administrative time.
• Generous Paid Time Off of 35 days annually.
• CME-$3,500 annually for conference registration, certifications, and membership fees for specialty-specific medical societies.

Guthrie Vestal Internal Medicine is affiliated with Guthrie Lourdes Hospital, which has been serving the city of Binghamton and surrounding communities with compassionate patient care for the last 99 years. Acquired by Guthrie, a not-for-profit, integrated health care system, in early 2024, Guthrie Lourdes joins Guthrie in serving Northeast Pennsylvania and the Southern Tier region of New York with six hospitals and 76 regional offices in a 13-county catchment area.
